How does reseller hosting work?

After signup you will be given access to the SmartWeb reseller control panel, Web Host Manager. WHM will allow you manage and provide your customers with their own user control panels (cPanel) which will enable them to create and modify their own web sites. Once your customer is logged into cPanel they are able to control sub domains, email addresses, passwords and much more without requiring any assistance! In the event that you encounter any difficulties, we're available 24/7/365 to help.

 

Who can be a reseller?
Anyone can be a Reseller. Whether you're a web designer, entrepreneur, developer, programmer or just want to make extra cash, you can join our lucrative Smartweb Reseller Program.

How does it work?
Each reseller plan receives an allotment of disk space and bandwidth. As an example, our special Starter plan comes with 5GB (10 GB) of bandwidth. Just divide up how much disk space and bandwidth you want to offer your customers. Most websites use less than 25MB of disk space and less than 500MB of bandwidth - so you can fit quite a few accounts under one Reseller account.

Each account that you create is automatically given its own Cpanel control panel. You control all of your clients with the Web Host Manager Control panel. Everything is easy to understand and can be used by anyone.
With our reseller programs, you basically become your own hosting company. For a yearly fee, we will give you a set amount of disk space, IP addresses, and control panels. From there, you can create your own hosting packages, based upon the needs of your customers. Let's say you have one customer who needs 100MB of storage and 20 email accounts, and you have another customer who needs 300MB of storage and 100 email accounts.

With our reseller program, you have the power and flexibility to create two distinct packages: one to meet the needs of each customer. As Smartweb does not charge you for each hosting package you sell to a customer, your profit margin is exponential. All of your customers are hosted on the disk space we provide for your account. With our 5 levels of reseller plans available, we make it easy for you to start small and then upgrade to a higher plan as your business grows.

What about Support?
The reseller acts for and on behalf of their own clients. We provide technical support to the reseller. Each reseller is responsible for their own client?s accounts, the reseller's client has no contact with us, all billing and client support is the responsibility of the Reseller. Our reseller program is built on a solid platform of open communication between our support team and our resellers. Our resellers can depend on us for the rock-solid infrastructure they need to make their businesses successful.
